Information for Attorneys

You've acquired the skills and the experience necessary to meet the demands of today's estate planning clients.  But, how will you let potential clients know that you exist?

Promoting your skills and experience to potential clients is critical to your success.  Every attorney knows that.  But, it also requires a fair amount of time and energy, not to mention a significant committment of your financial resources.

We believe that skilled and experienced estate planning attorneys should do what they do best - practice law - and leave the marketing side to others.  That's how the Legal Services Program can help.

The Living Trust Network is slowly building a loyal following of well-educated, somewhat older individuals who take pride in doing as much of their own estate planning as they can.  That doesn't mean that they don't value the services of highly-trained legal professionals.  Instead, it means that they are actively involved in the estate planning process and they know when it is in their best interest to utilize third-party services.  And, when they decide they need good legal advice, they generally know what they want and they don't hesitate to get it.

As part of your marketing effort, shouldn't you put yourself in position to be called when our members go looking?   As a Participating Attorney, you'll do just that.  Here's why:

Website Listing.  When Living Trust Network members decide they need a skilled and experienced estate planning attorney, they turn to the Legal Services Program to find one.  Here, they'll click on your state, then zoom into your city or town to find your professional profile describing your practice, your professional qualifications, your work experience, your office information, and even your fees if you wish to provide that information.  In addition, a professionally-prepared headshot, together with direct communication capabilities and directions to your office provide all the information needed to secure the call.

Restricted Membership.  The Legal Services Program is not open to just anyone.  First and foremost, we want to insure that Participating Attorneys have the necessary skills and experience to provide the type of services that our members demand.  [See "About Participating Attorneys"]  While we do impose certain minimum requirements for participation in the Legal Services Program, we leave the practice of law up to you.  How you handle your client's legal matters is entirely up to you.  Second, we are interested in the quality of legal services provided to our members, not the quantity.  Therefore, we have choosen to restrict the number of Participating Attorneys within any given geographical area.  In that way, we can better monitor the operation of the Legal Services Program.

Community Meetings.  It is our expectation that the Living Trust Network will conduct regular community meetings so that members and guests can discuss estate planning issues face to face with meeting moderators, other members and guest, and local professionals.  Community meetings provide an excellent forum to resolve issues, discuss relevant topics, and learn directly from community professionals involved in the estate planning process.  Participating Attorneys serving a particular geographical area (city, town, township, or county) will have exclusive rights to attend these community meetings, make presentations, and generally discuss legal issues with members and guests in a public and/or private setting.

If you're anxious to let potential clients know that you exist, shouldn't you consider becoming a Participating Attorney?   When you join the Legal Services Program, you bring your estate planning skills and experience to a growing number of potential clients that have already done their homework and are eager for your services.
